Garrity, Clark My grandmother was Delia Garrity from County Galway. She was born 1870-1875. Her death certificate lists her parents as Patrick Garrity and Catherine Clark. She immigrated to America about 1890. I found a Delia Garrity from Tuam born about this time but I do not know if it is the right one. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Geraghty, Blake My name is Betty Liberto (Geraghty) I'm looking for any family that I may have Tuam. My Great Grandfather is from Tuam. This is what I know so far his name is Andrew J Geraghty born March 1872. I was told his parents are John Geraghty & Kitty Blake. He came to the United States in 1891. I'm looking for information on his family so far I have not had any luck. If there is any way you can help me or know someone who can I would be very grateful.  Betty Liberto

Gorman My maternal Grandfather Michael Francis GORMAN was born in the Diocese of Tuam about 1880.Names of parents unknown. (father possibly J. )
His family apparently emigrated to Clinton, Massachusetts USA when he was a small child. Two known brothers were Patrick and Jack (John).
He travelled to New Zealand at the end of 1907. Married in New Zealand, and with three small children he and his youngest son died in the Influenza epidemic of 1918. Although he is buried here, he is not dead, - well legally anyway. His death was never recorded as the Parish Priest responsible for registering also succumbed at the same time. Any help or assistance in furthering my research would be appreciated.

Gready, Grealy  Burke My name is actually Peoples but my paternal great great grandparents were Martin Grady (or Gready) and Mary Burke. In five years of searching, the only source for their family which I've been able to discover is the record of one of their daughters, Mary, who was a nun with the name Sister Mary Leonard, Sisters of St. Long Island, NY. The convent records state that she was born 24 May 1857 in Tuam Parish, County Galway.

Can anyone verify the "Martin Grealy" you have already listed on the site? Is it at all possible that this could be Martin Gready? This is an alternate spelling of my gggrandfather's last name, provided by his son John! If you can shed any light, it would be greatly appreciated! Please feel free to contact me at any time.   Pat Peoples

Grogan My name is Bari Grogan Bentley. I have traced my family back to Tuam, Galway, Ireland. That would be James & Catherine Grogan born around 1830, James had a brother name Thomas. Thomas and his wife apparently went to Leigh, Lancs, England around 1861. Trying to get information on James & Catherine. I find Catherine and her son, Patrick Grogan (born around 1855 in Tuam) in Leigh. Are you familiar with our family? Bari Grogan Bentley, Los Angeles, California
